Hitch in My Giddee-up

I got stuck on building the spinning wheel. So I'm doodling some more. I might just draft my wool and wind it into loose balls just to keep my eyes on the prize. I'm seeing it as having almost a rotary dial instead of the usual rod mechanism. I'm not sure how sturdy it will be, and in the end will probably resort to steel or brass for all the parts that are key to rotation(because of force + weight of course). I'll have to wait and see though. The glue I have welds the plastic pieces together, but that doesn't make acrylic strong as steel(ooh but I wish yeah!).

Oooh, I'm nearly finished with the foot of my sock, soon I'll have completed the toe, and will get to try the kitchener stitch for the first time :)).
